Arrahman Community and Educational Trust believe that education is a key component in the development of an individual’s character and their ability to positively contribute to society. In particular, Islamic studies, including Quran and fiqh, hold great value for individuals in this world and the hereafter. The Quran is a source of guidance and inspiration for Muslims, providing them with knowledge on the principles of morality, ethics, and spirituality. Through Quranic studies, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of the teachings of Islam, allowing them to apply these teachings to their daily lives and interactions with others.
Madrasah
The importance of Madrasah education for children in Muslim society cannot be denied. It is in the Madrasah where our children acquire Islamic education and learn moral values. The Madrasah not only offers spiritual benefits for the hereafter but also provides them with goodness in this world. Arrahman Community and Educational Trust recognizes Madrasah as the main pillar of our community, vital to its existence. That is why the establishment of Madrasatulrahman was the initial step taken even before the inception of Arrahman Community and Educational Trust, previously known as East Africa Swahili Community.
Our Madrasah enrolls children from the age of 7 years, with a monthly fee of £25. Currently, Madrasah classes are conducted every weekend from 15:00 to 18:00. The curriculum includes teachings of the Quran, Hadiths, and Fiqh to nurture their religious knowledge and understanding.
